Do you offer free consultations?
Yes, Dr. Payan offers a 20-minute free phone consultation.
Do you prescribe medication?
Dr. Payan does not prescribe medication as she is a psychologist. Please consult with a psychiatrist or neurologist for any medication you may need.
I don’t live in Florida, but I would like to see you for therapy. Can you help me?
Feel free to send us an email indicating your state of residency and we can let you know. You may also check the list of states where Dr. Payan can provide services right here on our website.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes, therapy can be confidential except in certain circumstances, such as if there is a danger to yourself or someone else, if there is possible emotional, physical, or sexual abuse or neglect to a minor, elderly person, or individual with special needs, or if court order signed by a judge is provided.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we accept commercial insurance (Aetna, United Healthcare, Optum, and Oscar) for Florida residents only.
What are your fees?
Therapy and psychological evaluations have different fees, please email us with your desired service and we can provide you with the appropriate fee based on your needs.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
